Process work ANdrew Bird piece

Research for the Andrew bird concept pice I posted earlier. Trying to draw lighting in theatres, working on combinig everything together for some more development pieces for the new post. It's helping me to do more research for each piece i draw. I hope it improves my ability to light, compose and convey my idea more clearly. And maybe with more time it won't require me to spend so much time on process work in order to get a mood or environment.

Summer Hansel and Gretel Character concepts

I abandoned character for a while to focus on location design and colour. This is where I left off at the end of my internship this summer. Im going to try to get back into it. I find that I'm not confident yet in drawing boys and men. Drawing women and girls is eisier for me.

I want to get to a point where I am also able to accurately capture a large variation of personalities and character features that don't resemble my own.
