I've been learning to use pastels and become sharper with colour and lighting since this summer.
Unfortunately I do not have as many chances to paint with pastels outdoors since it is winter time here in Canada, and I cant imagine sitting still in negative degree weather and attempting to paint using my bear fingers....I think they would fall off.
This is a study done of my back yard, as the sun was getting near setting.

I painted this looking out of the kitchen window, the lighting was so beautiful.
