Barcelonetta Beach Acrylic paintings

Whent on an amazing trip to Spain recently. Did not have too much time to paint or sketch as I had too many places to see too much other fun to have. But I was able to steal away a lazy afternoon to paint on the Barcelonetta beach strip in Barcelona. I braught a little acrylic kit with me on the trip. A bit of a pain to put together. But it proved to be perfect!

These are so great :) Just lots of fun, I like seeing the world through your eyes. You capture all the simple elements and lay them out nicely rough.

Did you purposefully put some sand in the paint at the bottom??

Thanks for the comments guys!

Stephen- the sand was not on purpose.the sand just kindof stuck to the paint and to the paper. To everything really. I braught back tons of it in my stuff back to Canada, the infamous stowaway.
