Summer painting of the back yard. I started painting with acrylic a while back. Maybe not the best photo of the painting the colors and values look a bit twisted I will have to tweak. This was pretty much one of my first large attempts. It was uber fun, and helped me figure out that I have no idea what I am doing but I have love doing it, and that I need to paint way way way more . I am hoping this next large canvas painting the sketch of which I posted in the previous post will be a more thaught out and embellished attempt.
Next are excerpts from my 2010 work sketchbook. I paint backgrounds all day, and take little breaks here and there to draw my co workers or scribble little thaughts.
I think this one is pretty self explanitory.
