I think this is pretty well the style i will be sticking with for the stern family stories book. With painted acrylic backdrops for the characters or maybe a mix of both i need to test out a story image next.

Acrylic_Painting_Process_August

I have not been posting on this blog as often as I usually do beacause I have been busy tinkering away at this painting. It is my first large canvas painting in a very long time and I am exited to be creating something in real medium for once besides quick studies. This is not the the most in focus picture but the best I managed to take without a tripod.I still have many many details to continue creating and more water effects and fish and clothing textures. I have learned so much already painting this and am exited to see what it will look like when I feel that it is complete.
